Shadow was in the chamber room that he was there he looked thoughtful and felt somewhat vain for being the Alpha. He couldn't take out from his head the smile of Sonic, Shadow sigh in the though of Sonic, he took a deep breath and let his head up high to show authority beyond the others. "Shadow you're now smiling" Sonic's image was in his head, ".... No I'm not" said Shadow, he got up for a moment and walked out to the graveyard.

Sonic was near the grave were he was before and looked up at the full moon raising up. Sonic heard someone getting close and he walked away, Shadow headed to Sonic's gravestone and for his surprise it was dug up. Shadow quickly sniffs it around and he could only smell Sonic's scent, Shadow looked side to side searching for it he had a strange feeling. Sonic watches him as he was hidden and lowered his ears, Shadow looked down at the grave and thought about it, "Someone must have dug him up, why couldn't they leave him in peace" though Shadow and walked inside the mansion. "Shadow.... Why didn't you help me?..." Sonic whisper, Shadow was now in the mansion as he was greeted by the other creatures with space showing him respect, Sonic sigh and walked around kicking a small rock.

"I sense there's something in the wind
That feels like tragedy's at hand
And though I'd like to stand by him
Can't shake this feeling that I have
The worst is just around the bend"

Sonic looked at the mansion sadly,
"And does he notice my feelings for him?
And will he see how much he means to me?
I think it's not to be"

Sonic saw the red rose and pick it up holding it close to his chest.
"What will become of my dear friend?
Where will his actions lead us then?
Although I'd like to join the crowd
In their enthusiastic cloud
Try as I may, it doesn't last"

Sonic closed his eyes and a tear fell down on the rose, Shadow stopped and perked his ears.

"And will we ever end up together?
No, I think not, it's never to become
For I am not the one"

Sonic finish singing and holds tight the rose in his hands. Shadow's ears perked of the sound of a voice, yet he could not be distracted so much specially not this night. Sonic went to the mansion and entered Shadow's room, he went to the bed and placed the rose there. Shadow stared at the ground for a moment, "What is he waiting for?" Thought the vampfox, Sonic caress the bed feeling Shadow's warm and closed his eyes.

"Guards you are to inform me about anything that goes out of place" said Shadow as he got up leaving heading to he's room. He slightly opened the door and notice as he looked up that someone was there. He raised a eye brow wondering who it was, Sonic perked his ears and looked back at him surprised. Shadow got a bit defensive yet he showed no aggressiveness, he just closed the door behind him. "Did you loose something?" He asked, Sonic stepped back a bit, "Or were you send here?" Shadow asked approaching him slowly suddenly he had stopped right in front of him. Shadow's eyes seemed to wonder a bit lower to Sonic's chest. Sonic looked down too curious, he blushed and keeps steeping back till he bumps his back with the wall. Shadow tilt his head still not moving his eyes away from that spot, Sonic keeps blushing and breath faster. Shadow raised a eyes brow something about that chest made Shadow feel attracted, he's cheeks turned to a dark red and he sniffed the chest closely. Sonic tries to move away but only made his chest move forward, Shadow's muzzle was in Sonic's chest and he's eyes widen looking up at Sonic's face. Sonic looked down all flushed.

Shadow felt a strange rhythm on Sonic chest yet the scent was confusing. Shadow's instinct in this moments was strange he opened his mouth letting his tongue touch Sonic's chest. Sonic closed his eyes moaning a little, Shadow's ears perked Sonic's flavor was a bitter flavor it also had a hint of sweetness. Shadow raised his muzzle gently, he's lips were now on Sonic's chest. He could feel Sonic warm breath on his face as well as Sonic could feel Shadow's warm breath on he's neck. Sonic flinch and lowered his ears, Shadow closed his eyes and let his lips caress Sonic's neck he slide them up. His mouth was now near Sonic's both their breath's were warm and Shadow liked it opening he's eyes only half. Sonic slowly slide down till his bootie touch the floor, Shadow perked he's ears and backed away, he stared at Sonic's all flushed. Shadow looked away quickly, Sonic crawls away and stood up getting on the window. Shadow looked over at him and Sonic notice he's blush, Sonic looked out side and jumped off.

Shadow looked confused on what just happened, "Hello... Alpha" said Mephiles in the door way. Shadow looked over him, "Mephiles?!" Shadow asked, Sonic sat on the grass all shy. He was panting he felt so odd how Shadow was treating him, Sonic perked his ears as he heard something brake in the room. it was followed by a roar, Sonic looked up. The room sounded like is something really strong was happening inside like a real battle, Sonic climbs up and looked inside. Shadow tackled Mephiles slashing him but Mephiles moved back and had a spear with some liquid, Sonic watches them. Mephiles stabbed Shadow in that moment making the werehog groan and fall on the floor. Shadow struggle a little as the liquid was strong, "That will keep you done for a while" said Mephiles throwing the sphere away, Sonic stood on the window "Stay away from him!" Sonic said. "And who are you suppose to be?" Mephiles asked, "The one who destroy you" said Sonic. "With that figure I'm actually interested to know how will you do it?" Mephiles asked, Sonic blushed and charge at him. Mephiles quickly moved back dodging and grabbed Sonic by the tail. "Oops my bad my hands can get slippery" said Mephiles chuckling, Sonic blushes more, Mephiles threw him against the nightstand, "Trust me kid the best you can do is to stay out of my way" said Mephiles. Shadow wined as he turned around laying on his back, Sonic tackled Mephiles from behind.

"Someone can't keep their hands off me" said Mephiles touching his hips, Sonic deeper his claws. Mephiles kicked him off and punched him in the gut and face kicking him away. Sonic hit the wall and fell on the floor with his legs separated, Mephiles pressed his foot on Sonic's stomach, "Be lucky I didn't do to you what I did to him" Mephiles gave him a final kick in the face before leaving.
